Solving real-world problems in a team

"I joined Lavaris because I was looking for a job in engineering and at the same time, a company that would allow me to use my creativity. That’s exactly what I found, and I have a lot of freedom in coming up with new solutions. During my studies at secondary school, I swept the workshop during internships, but that’s not what you’ll find at Lavaris. We pride ourselves on giving students the opportunity to apply the practical side of their theoretical education. This is why I initiated the student CNC milling machine project, which was worked on exclusively by students, including the assembly. Aside from engineering projects, I consider assembling a strong and friendly team one of my greatest achievements."
Michal Žyrek, Head of Engineering

"I got into LAVARIS thanks to my high school, where the company was looking for its first part-time workers. I started by creating technical drawings, but over time I became more involved in construction and design. Even as a student, I had the opportunity to contribute to major projects and machines; my first design was a filtration station for filtering very fine dust."
Zdeněk Jirásek

"During my studies at the secondary technical school, I first encountered the company through an inspiring lecture that sparked my enthusiasm for the field of mechanical engineering. A few years later, I decided to apply for a position as a design engineer, where I can develop my knowledge and skills in practice. I have now completed my first successful project — a functional air separator — and I am looking forward to new challenges."
Adam Matoušek

"I got into LAVARIS through a lecture at university that really caught my interest, which led me to reach out to the company. The greatest advantage of working at LAVARIS is that it’s not just about sitting in an office or cleaning up the workshop — it’s about actively participating in projects from all angles and gaining valuable hands-on experience. In the short time I have been at LAVARIS, I have already designed three machines and have been involved in the assembly and testing of two of them."
