3D printing

Lavaris is developing its own large format
3D printing in Libčice nad Vltavou

Since the beginning of 2025, we have been building a showroom focused on 3D printing at our premises in Libčice nad Vltavou. This step marks a significant milestone for our company, our partners, and our customers, as we are introducing modern technologies that push the boundaries of recycling and the use of secondary raw materials.

LAVARIS s.r.o. has long been committed to reducing waste through recycling technologies. Our new project, which incorporates 3D printing technologies, is a natural extension of our activities and aligns with our strategy of innovation and sustainability. For the third consecutive year, we have been proud members of a project we like to call PlastIT.

In collaboration with Plastenco design s.r.o. and the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague, specifically the Department of Model Projecting MOLAB, we have developed applications for large-format 3D printing, particularly using recycled materials such as PET.

We have developed our own extruder, which we are continuously improving in cooperation with both domestic and international partners. The project focuses on large-format 3D printing using robotic arms, as well as on creating a catalogue of eco-design products.

At the same time, our team has designed a new concept for a complete large-format gantry 3D printer, into which we are embedding our knowledge, experience, and vision for the future. We are crossing known technological boundaries and, by utilizing recycled composite materials, making a significant step forward in the field of ecological innovation and modern sustainable manufacturing.

What does the LAVARIS showroom offer?

Our LAVARIS showroom in Libčice nad Vltavou – a demo center for large-format 3D printing – will not only serve as a space for technological innovation but also as a center for collaboration and knowledge sharing in the field of 3D printing. It will serve as a base for the implementation of the joint PlastIT project.

The showroom will be equipped with the latest 3D printing technology for processing recycled materials, contributing to the further development of industrial solutions and supporting sustainable and innovative approaches to manufacturing and eco-design.

Thus, LAVARIS will become an integral part of the process of integrating 3D printing into industrial production and eco-design, bringing new dimensions of possibilities and significantly increasing production efficiency.

The PlastIT project led us to the development of our own extruder. We subsequently established cooperation with Dyze Design, a leading global manufacturer of large-format extruders. In addition to joint development, we have become their official ambassadors for the European market.

What can you find with us?

A large-format 3D printer, several types of extruders, and various models of complete large-format printers. Additionally, you will find eco-design prints and prints intended for practical use.
